Mead Triathlon JOIN THE LAKE FAMILY LIFE FITNESS EVENTS

In recognition of Veterans Day, Lake Mead inaugural Triathlon will take place on Saturday, November 12th at the Lake Mead National Recreation Area in Boulder City, Nev. This race will benefit CAF Operation Rebound by grants for adaptive sports equipment and competition costs. Through this grant, Medical Military Physical Training Centre (MMCPT) and sports clinics, Operation Rebound provides unparalleled sports opportunities and support for active U.S. military service members, veterans from every branch and first responders who suffered permanent physical injuries.

Triathlon Lake Mead promises an adventure to competitors of all levels. The event, which is owned and produced by Life Time Fitness (NYSE: LTM), Healthy Way of Life Company, consisting of three different programs including the sprint distance (750 meter swim, 20-mile bike, 5K run), an international distance (1500 meter swim , 40-mile bike, 10K run) and long course (1.2 mile swim, 56-mile bike, 13.1 mile run). A distance relay for international and long course and one half marathon participants are also open for registration.

Living Time Fitness will donate a portion of the registration of each individual athlete and 100 percent of registration fees for the two relays directly to the Operation Rebound. Participants and non-participants can make a donation to support the mission by visiting www.lakemeadtri.com.

The initial enrollment period ended 30 September with the current fee ranging from $ 65 to $ 150 for individual participants and $ 250 to $ 500 for relay participation.
